Eileen & I put on a rockin’ party yesterday at Wolfe Neck Farm in Freeport, Maine. Her parents have been married 40 years and all the siblings got together to plan a surprise party for them. They pulled it off, despite the number of family & friends that were invited & a series of complicated logistics; both of them were completely & totally surprised! Eileen & I had been scheming about the decorations for months and we settled on flags in flowers, heart garlands, fabric flags, and a bunch of other colourful details. I think that both of us really enjoyed planning an event that wasn’t in the winter, where we got to wear summer dresses instead of two layers of down. More photos to come!
